• This is Brighton's only exclusively vegetarian pub. It is a fine place with a lively, friendly atmosphere and a fireplace. The clientele tends to be local people coming in after work for a few pints. On Friday nights and at weekends the pub attracts a younger crowd. The walled beer garden is extremely pleasant and is heated in winter. The menu features a fantastic range of vegetarian/vegan food which comes in huge portions at very cheap prices. The home-made vegeburgers are lovely. Speciality vegetarian beers include Hoegaarden (a seriously classy, fruity lager), Staropramen, which is a fine Czech lager and a few more standard lagers, bitters and ciders; and of course a range of spirits and organic wine. .
