Tamarind Tree (The) - Brighton

  • Description:

    • Located just down the road from Brighton train station, Tamarind Tree Cafe is Brighton's only Caribbean restaurant. It is quite a small place, but the layout and lighting makes it feel spacious and comfortable. Background music tends to be tuneful roots reggae, at just the right level. Cuisine is authentic Caribbean and Jamaican using the finest traditional ingredients. Their vegetarian and vegan dishes - Jamaican fruits and veg along with beautiful sauces - are all quite special. A selection of good fruit and vegetable juices as well as tea and coffee is available. If you bring your own wine (they don't serve alcohol) there is a corkage charge.
