Description:

  • This shop is a recent addition to Kemp Town's quirkiness and although it isn't centrally positioned, it would be difficult to miss as a yellow submarine is welded to the front. It is the first shop in the South, outside London, to be devoted to the Beatles. Memorabilia includes books, teapots, armchairs, biscuit jars, signed pictures and even a fruit machine depicting the band in stock. The owners Jane and Meg (who is from New York) have created a shrine to the Beatles, with a collection of drawings by illustrator Heinz Edelman.
