- This city centre swimming pool sits in the heart of the North Laine area of Brighton. Once a municipal bath, attempts have been made to modernize Prince Regent Swimming Complex with the addition of water slides and an excellent diving pool. Despite this, it still retains its old fashioned air. There is plenty of space, but you do need to watch out for the serious swimmers ploughing up and down the lanes like Olympic racers. North Laine has an abundance of cafes for when you have worked up an appetite.
