Look around for hidden wildlife; many species of wildfowl and birds are common in and around the lake and hides are provided for those who take their ornithology more seriously. Landscaped picnic areas are available as well as a tea shop which sells lunches and snacks at reasonable prices. Much of this area is accessible for buggies and wheelchairs.
