User Review:
An old convent and some recently acquired neighboring properties in the upmarket shopping district around avenue Louise and Porte de Namur have been transformed into this graceful hotel. The ambience of the Stanhope combines that of a country retreat with a prime metropolitan location. All the guest rooms are individually decorated in variations of Old English style. For all the hotel's English image, the in-house restaurant Brighton is French, which may not be a typically Old English touch but is certainly tasteful.
