Could easily be nicknamed the Woodstock of Budapest, with a vibrant urban festival atmosphere every summer night! This is the place to go to meet locals and have a few relaxed drinks in the heart of the city.
NileGuide Expert tip:
Buy a bottle of wine at one of the neighboring 24 hour shops (the nearest one in Roni) and find a spot to consume it amongst the crowd doing exactly the same; this is how to start a night out the local way!
Located right in the middle of the city, Gödör (Pothole) was built in/under a park, where the main bus station used to be and was until an election and change of administration. This versatile space is sometimes an art gallery and sometimes a music lounge or outdoor movie theater. Outside of the summer months, events seem to be sporadic. You are bound to be at Deák, so you may want to check it out to see if there is anything going on. The park is a popular hangout for skateboarders in the evening and other alterative-lifestyle youth. Prices depend on the event.
