Reopened in March 2007, this ultramodern hotel part of the Mellow Mood chain is a breath of fresh air to the area, only 1 block from the Red metro. Attention to detail was obvious when this former post office was converted into its current incarnation, a completely nonsmoking hotel. The greenish-gray walls mixed with the blues in the carpeting make the rooms feel airy and roomy, yet they exude a warmth that will welcome even the finicky guest. The extra-large built-in double closet is convenient for a long-term stay, where luggage and clothes can be stored without taking up space in the room. Rooms have soundproof windows. The desk has three outlets at the back, making it convenient for plugging in devices while working. A table lamp uses a low light that's not obtrusively bright. For those who like to read, a comfortable chair is set by the desk with a floor lamp nearby. This is suited to travelers of all ages and all ages were represented during my stay.
