• At one time, there was a very expensive, but beautiful Indian restaurant on this site that closed down for remodeling. When it reopened, no one was prepared for the Indian fast-food restaurant that it now is. Almost a year later, this cafeteria-style restaurant has successfully found its niche. Owned by the people who run Salaam Bombay, the food is excellent and the portions are extra large. With your tray in hand, you have choices of tandoori wraps with chicken, mincemeat, or vegetables. There are express meals with chicken, beef, lamb, or vegetables and they come with rice and nan bread. Samosas and potato bombas are also available. Nothing is overly spicy, so ask for hot sauce if you want some fire in your food. We have tried everything on the menu and still return for more. You won't leave here hungry or broke.
