Takebayashi

• Takebayashi (bamboo grove in English) is a lovely restaurant decorated according to Japanese tradition. Following suit, its main feature opposite the entrance is an open kitchen where guests can enjoy the delicious nigiris, makis and sashimi being made in front of their very eyes. On the second floor, homey booths line one after another for private dining, and the first floor is a ten-person tatami room where the traditionally small tables require guests to sit in seiza. Located along the Belgrád Embankment of the inner city, it has a lovely view of the River Danube. The menu, centred on sushi, is very extensive. Fish and rice dishes, noodle and bento are but a few examples.
