• The Airborne Club is Hungary's largest paragliding club, founded by two friends in 1998 with great passion for the sport. They offer both tandem rides as well as paragliding courses through spring and summer, alongside trips to France and Switzerland.
  
  Tandem paragliding is perfect for those after an adrenalin boost, looking to try something new or just wanting to enjoy a bird's eye view of the city. No prior experience is necessary. Complete armatures can fly above Budapest in perfect safety strapped to a professional, specifically trained for conducting tandem rides. One ride lasts around 15 to 20 minutes and costs 15 000ft.
  
  Originally, these shorts flights were a means of giving those interested in learning to paraglide a taste for the sport, but have become a popular off beat activity amongst tourists and locals alike. The flight itself is said to be free of charge, with the 15 000ft being more of a contribution to the team for the equipment used.
