• This market hall located a roughly 10 minutes' bus ride from the Eastern Railway Station has what all Budapest market halls have: endless stalls of fruits and veg, florists, butchers and home cooked fast food including the popular lángos, pörkölt, spicy sausages and the so-called tepertő somewhat resembling pork scratchings (a real Hungarian favourite) – all filling the air with a mouth-watering smell. It's open-air section also has clothes and other household goods. Word around the internet however, is that their beef is not of highest quality, but their poultry and fish are up to standard with a huge variety on offer.
