Small homey bath house with medicinal water and a variety of massages to pamper guests!

  • Description:

    • The Dandár Bath is one of the smaller and newer baths of Budapest built in the mid-20th century originally as a sanitary bath, converted into a thermal bath after World War II. It is located in an up and coming part of the 9th district with neighbours such as the Zwack Unicum, the National Theatre and the River Danube.

The bath house has three pools, all of which are filled with medicinal water of varying temperatures between 26 and 38 degrees. Other features include sauna, underwater jet massage, medical and foot massage.

The water is rich in calcium, magnesium and hydrogen chloride amongst other useful minerals making it ideal for treating joint and digestive problems amongst others. After soaking for a few hours, it leaves the skin feeling as soft as a baby's bottom!
