Description:
- The Jégterasz (Ice Terrace in English) is a 2100m2 rink in the Millennium Park on top the West End City Centre, the largest shopping mall of Central Europe. It has always been a popular ice skating venue, but gained even more popularity since the large rink in the City Park has been closed for renovation several years ago.
The rink is maintained three times a day, so opening hours are 8am-12, 1pm-5pm, 6pm-10pm from Sunday to Thursday, 6pm-midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The Ice Terrace is sponsored by Radio 1, who's DJs host regular parties with pumping music and great atmosphere high above the city. Regular ice hockey matches are also held at the Jégterasz. Groups can make reservations and hold private parties on the roof-top.
The Ice Terrace Skate School awaits pre-school and elementary school groups until noon on week days, when friendly instructors hold 45 minute sessions. - © NileGuide2012
