• The OMSZK Wakeboarding Centre is one of the ten wake parks found around the country. Wakeboarding spread across Hungary like wildfire after being introduced in the early 90's, since when Hungary seems to have become somewhat of an internationally recognized wakeboard superpower, winning golds, silvers and bronzes at the Olympic Games.
  
  The OMSZK Wakeboard Centre is located on a former miner's lake in the suburbs of Budapest, surrounded by a grassy park ideal for sunbathing. A large supermarket and McDonalds can also be found nearby.
  
  The cable park is 800m long with no sharp corners making it easier for beginners to learn, whilst also catering to pros' needs by several elements including two ramps, a rainbow slider, a pussybox, a fun box and an A-frame. Season and day tickets as well as 1 to 4 hour tickets can be purchased. Beginners can learn with the help of friendly instructors between 9am and noon, when the cable is set to a lower speed. Rentals offer kit for a reasonable price.
