- Built in 1953, the stadium was originally named Népstadion, or the People's Stadium. Now it proudly carries the name of Hungary's greatest soccer player (footballer), Ferenc Puskás. It has a maximum capacity of nearly 70,000 and is a popular venue for soccer matches. Music concerts are also frequently held here.
