• The building itself is charming, built in the same 19th century style as the Central Market Hall, but its surrounding neighborhood leaves room for improvement. It used to be the district of artists in its hay day, but nowadays the crumbling housing estates and metro construction site that encircle it take away from that old-day charm. The locals however come here as they did back in the day, for their daily grocery shopping of fresh meat and veg. From the touristy point of view, it's a great place to grab a bite for a budget, with typical Hungarian dishes, snacks and beverages to be had.
