• Opened in 1908, this lovely theatre and opera house is dedicated to the Spanish Community and culture. This historic theatre most of the time present works of Lorca which he composed when he lived in Castelar. Today, Teatro Avenida is a cathedral of theatrical performances and also hosts musical performances and operas. The Zarzuela type of theatre is what is showcased here most of the time.
