This landmark hotel consists of two parts -- the 12-story "Park" tower housing the majority of the guest rooms, and the 1916 French-style "La Mansión," with seven elegant suites and a handful of private event rooms. A French-style garden and a pool separate the two buildings. The spa is named Pachamama and some treatments use wine and other Argentine ingredients. The hotel's restaurant, Le Mistral, serves excellent Mediterranean cuisine in a casual environment. Spacious guest rooms provide atypical amenities such as walk-in closets, wet and dry bars, stereo systems, and cellphones. Large marble bathrooms contain separate water-jet bathtubs and showers. Guests on the executive Library Floor enjoy exclusive amenities. While new competition has opened up around the corner at the new Park Hyatt Buenos Aires, the Four Seasons holds its own with celebrities, and it wins top honors from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and other magazines.
