Description:

  • Travelers are often disappointed with the availability and quality of pasta in Buenos Aires. It is, after all, a city full of Italian descendents. But most Argentineans limit their pasta to soft, heavily sauced dishes such as gnocchi or ravioli. Luckily, Bella Italia serves up authentic pasta with a bit more variety. Set in a charmingly rustic building in Palermo Chico's residential area, Bella Italia is not a budget option, but it does offer some of the neighborhood's best pizza and pasta. On the weekends, it can be hard to catch a table here. It may be necessary to make reservations. Open Monday-Saturday at 20:00. Closing times vary. - Tim Wilkins
