Description:

  • Founded on November 5th 1983 in honor of Sergei Obrastzov, the Museo Nacional del Titere is a one-of-a-kind puppet museum started by Sarah Bianchi and Bernardo Mane. The museum operates in San Telmo and exhibit puppets from the 19th century. There are also puppet shows held here regularly in Spanish and many other languages. There are eight rooms in all showcasing puppets from different regions of the world and even a library which has special book about puppets and their origin and stories. There are also workshops held here.
