Like Juan Pablo told you, there are a lot of milongas to visit, but I need to know if you are a dancer or beginner, because in some places have more lessons than others. You have a lot of information in http://agendacultural.buenosaires.gob.ar/evento/aprende-a-bailar-tango/4143.
Welcome to Argentina!

There are plenty of places. Downtown area, or San Telmo for more traditional, or Palermo for a new twist.

San Telmo is the best place to dance tango, a little touristic for my taste.
I don´t understand the term "vacation rental" vs "hotel"??? can´t answer that!
Answered by Ralph , Wilde, Argentina
The best tango and milonga you have at SAN TELMO. Here you have manys pub s and restaurant with tango show and music.
