Description:
This University of Vermont facility houses a fine collection of art and anthropological displays, with a permanent collection of African, ancient Egyptian, Asian, and Middle Eastern art. A selection of paintings by 20th-century Vermont artists is also on permanent display, and changing exhibitions reflect varied cultures. On weekdays, you must feed the museum's meters to park and also get a pass from the reception desk; on Saturday and Sunday, there's an additional lot available. Call or check the museum website for a schedule of lectures and other special events.
