The reason they stay is because this is the heart of the real Cabo social scene. Characters include professional sailors, fishermen, Canucks fans, millionaires, mariachis, swimsuit models, the famous and semi-famous (Joe Walsh when he wants to get drunk and not noticed, Heather Locklear, a few of the Dallas Cowboys, and Sammy Hagar's band when they are off work at Cabo Wabo), writers, gamblers, newspaper editors, blues musicians, dolphin trainers, soccer moms, off-work prostitutes, Hell's Angels, organic orange juice growers, and the occasional lucky tourist. One dollar bacon cheeseburgers and concert videos from 1950s to the present. Sports on five high definition tvs. Owner and bartender Juan Tatemura serves bottled beer for 25 pesos and well drinks for 41 pesos ($2 and $3.50 US, respectively).
