The hard rock band here blows the doors off the place four nights a week. Monster, the lead singer, sings exactly like anybody he wants to at any time, whether it is U2, AC/DC, Offspring, or Mexicano rock and rollers that us gringos never heard of. Juanito, the long-haired Chuck Taylor wearing guitar player, is the Mexican version of Joe Satriani. They invite any tourist musicians with chops to sit-in on a regular basis. This is a great bar for night owls who want to avoid the disco/dj scene, or who don't want to feel out of place in their ripped jeans and concert shirts. It's all rock, all the time, and gets better and better as the night goes on. Jungle bar is a favorite of both locals and tourists, and one of the better places to be in the world at 3am on a Friday night. Dollar beers on Wednesday aren't bad either.
