  • Medano Beach is over two miles long, and hosts the most festive beach atmosphere in town. The fun doesn't end when the sun goes down. At night, there is a thriving bar and club scene on the beach, with live music and dancing complimented by breaking waves and the romantic moonlight ambiance.

    Baja Brewing Company is at the top of the list, both literally and figuratively. Located on the ninth floor of Cabo Villas, they offer the best beer in town, terrific food, and unbeatable views of Bahia San Lucas. There is also flamenco music on Friday nights. Cabo Cantina is also at Cabo Villas, at beach level, with a cool, sophisticated atmosphere and an in-house deejay to keep the party going.

    Edith's, located a few steps from the beach, is one of the most famous restaurants in town, with delicious mesquite grilled entrees highlighting their traditional Mexican cuisine. The wine selection and colorful yet elegant appointments are the equal of their food, and make this a perfect place to begin the evening. Moonlight walks on the beach afterward are practically mandatory.

    Medano Beach Club is the former Las Palmas, and offers superb seafood and cocktails in a prime beach location. Dig your toes in the sand as you dig into your lobster, and enjoy the nightly live music, with live jazz on Wednesdays and Fridays. The Passion at Nikki Beach is the place to be if you are a supermodel, movie star, or just want to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Whether it is pool parties or theme nights, this is the place to see and be seen on the beach.

    Casa Rafael's boutique hotel with a cigar room and terrific on-site restaurant has recently closed. Formerly, they were a mainstay of this list.
