There is no better bar in San Lucas than El Squid Roe. This popular spot has been going strong for decades, and the reasons are obvious. The beers and shots flow, and one only has to spend a few hours amidst the party set to be considered a local. Speaking of locals, if you want to hang out with people who actually live here, and find out the lowdown on the best things to do in town, try Cabo Lounge. With cheap drinks, great music and all the latest sporting events, as well as the best bartender in Baja, this is a must stop on the bar circuit.
If your idea of a great bar is an Irish-style pub, check out Pub de la Chapu on the marina. With all the wood furnishings you could expect to see in an Emerald Isle public house, as well as a huge menu of beers from around the world, this is a beer lovers paradise. One hundred varieties from over twenty-five countries are available, including the excellent rice beer Indio on tap. Beer lovers should also take note of the Baja Brewing Company, the only microbrewery in Los Cabos. Located on the ninth floor of Cabo Villas, this is a little higher end than the other watering holes on the list, but compensates with comfortable surroundings and outstanding pizza and burgers.
