The oldest and still the best is the Mar de Cortez. With an unbeatable location,a beautiful pool area, as well as rooms from about fifty dollars, this is the best budget hotel in all of San Lucas. They also host Baja Peppers, one of the best on-site restaurants in the downtown area, and a favorite breakfast haunt of locals, who love the three egg special for three dollars. And if that isn't enough, the best fresh fruit stand in town is located mere feet from the hotel entrance.
Cabo Inn Hotel also has a well-earned reputation as a terrific low-cost alternative for budget minded travelers. With colorful no frills rooms from 40 USD a night, as well as a rooftop pool, bbq grill, and basic spa services, this is a long time favorite of seasonal visitors. They also boast a library reading area where you can enjoy your complimentary cup of morning coffee.
Los Milagros offers the best value among the several chaming Bed & Breakfasts that can be found within easy walking distance of the marina. The hotel has a boutique feel, with the smell of bougainvillea and magenta in the air, a beautiful old stone fountain, a garden, and a plunge pool for availabe for guests. All rooms have ceiling fans, air-conditioning, wi-fi, and cable television, with prices beginning at about 85 USD.
