Cabo San Lucas is known for its luxury resorts, with world-class amenities, spectacular views of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, pampering spa treatments, and proximity to championship caliber golf links par for the course here.
Capella Pedregal is among the most luxurious, with guests entering through the only private tunnel in Mexico to views of the Pacific. The Ridge Luxury Villas are also situated in Pedregal, and feature panoramic views of all of San Lucas. Both resorts boast excellent on-site dining, with El Farallon at Capella showcasing a romantic cliff-side location, and The Ridge Bistro flanked by a surfeit of Infinity pools.
Villa La Estancia is located on Medano Beach, and with unbeatable amenities like an on-site mini mall, there is scarcely a reason to leave the grounds. Grand Solmar is a newcomer, a conversion and upgrade of the old Solmar Suites, which date back to the days when San Lucas was a sleepy fishing village. Guests at Grand Solmar have their own private Pacific-side beach, and access to Solmar's fishing fleet for those who want their shot at the local marlin population. Villa del Arco, like Villa La Estancia, is located on Medano beach, and has a pirate ship in one of their swimming pools for those who like to walk a plank for their morning Bloody Mary.
Other new additions include El Ameyal, a rebranding of VistAzul Suites, to emphasize their holistic spa services, and Wyndham Los Cabos, a rebranding of the old Tesoro, and now managed by the largest hotel and resort company in the world. Wyndham enjoys a privileged location on the marina, and is central to both the Malecon and downtown shopping.
