Lover's Beach is one of the most popular destinations in Los Cabos, and the "near Lover's Beach" label is often used when advising visitors about accommodation and activities in the area, despite the fact that it is somewhat misleading. Lover's Beach, unless you want to scramble over the rocks from Playa Solmar (a dangerous adventure that is not recommended for anyone, as the Pacific currents are very strong, and rogue waves occasionally wash over the rocks), is only reachable via panga (water taxi) or other water-based transportation. So while the following hotels are among the closest to the beach, geographically speaking, it is not as if you can walk from your hotel to the beach. Pedregal and Playa Solmar are closest to the beach, and there are many great resorts and hotels in this area. For those who would like to grab a water taxi near the Malecon (marina boardwalk), the Wyndham Los Cabos has perhaps the best central location.
