The kids probably aren't going to appreciate all the great local lobster and sushi, but there are plenty of places around town where you can find them chicken fingers, burgers and fries, or ice cream. Jack's Bar & Grill on the marina is a good spot to start. Not only is it centrally located, they offer all the kid friendly favorites you could hope to find, including nachos, chicken wings, chicken fingers, burgers and the like. For a giant yogurt with chocolate sauce and some M&Ms on top, try Yogurlicious at the Soriana Mall. This is off the beaten tourist track, but if you have access to a car, this place is a huge hit with local youngsters. Captain Tony's on the marina, like Jack's, has a lot of great pub fare for the kids, as well as some really good pizza. Senor Sweets has evolved into a fine dining restaurant, but the kids will love their cakes and homemade ice creams, particularly during the hot summer months. Johnny Rockets is a 1950s style diner in the marina Golden Zone, and their burgers, fries, and milkshakes are a sure child pleaser. Down on Medano Beach, The Office and The Mango Deck will both provide burgers and pub fare when the kids get a little hungry after a day of building sand castles.
