Los Cabos is home to world-class diving, from one of the only living coral reefs in the Western Hemisphere at Cabo Pulmo on the East Cape, to tremendous dive locations in Bahia San Lucas. Explore Land's End, Gordo Banks, Los Frailes, Chileno Reef, or journey 200 miles southwest to experience the diving adventure of a lifetime near the Sicorro Islands.
Amigos del Mar is among the oldest dive shops in town and has a very good reputation locally. Other top dive shops in San Lucas include Baja Dive, owned by longtime resident Devore Sherman, as well as Manta and Andromeda Divers. All offer dive tours as well as certifications. Snorkel cruises are available at many places around the marina, with the Sunderland of particular note, since you are taken to your snorkel site aboard the oldest ship in all of Mexico, and one of the last tall ships still operating.
Not on the list is the Cabo Pulmo Beach Resort, although they have an on-site dive shop that provides dive and snorkel services for those interested in exploring the UNESCO protected reef, and one of the true underwater wonders of the world. Visitors to Los Cabos can arrange transport to Cabo Pulmo through any of the local dive shops, but the Beach Resort provides another option.
