Time shares and vacation rentals are big business in Los Cabos, as anyone knows who has ever walked through the airport gauntlet of salespeople. Virtually all the resorts in the area offer time shares, or fractional ownerships as they are often called. Vacation rentals and condos are also available for ownership, or for rent for longer stays. These can vary from small apartment condos to five bedroom villas that rent for five figures nightly. This is merely a preamble to saying virtually any accommodation can be had here for any length of time, based on availability of course. Most resorts push time shares and condos hard because they provide more consistent income than hotel room or villa rentals, but some resorts are more focused than others. Terrasol at Pedregal, for example, is a condo development wedged between two resorts, Grand Solmar and Playa Grande, that sell a lot of time shares. Marbella Suites and Las Gardenias are both condo developments focused on long-term or seasonal visitors. Medano Beach resorts offering fractional ownerships include Villa del Arco, Villa La Estancia, Villa del Palmar.
