  With a superb location steps from Medano Beach, as well as accommodations and amenities that straddle the line between luxe and hip without ever seeming ostentatious, precious, or pretentious, Bahia Hotel has carved out a niche as one of the premier boutique hotels in Los Cabos. There is an excellent pool area featuring daybeds and recliners for sunworshipers, and a huge palapa offering plenty of shade for those who've had enough sun. The on-site restaurant Bar Esquina is one of the best in town, and is popular with both locals and tourists, primarily because it offers everything from fine dining to more casual gourmet pizzas. The restaurant, like the hotel, manages an easy-going, all-things-to-all-people vibe without ever seeming generic or run-of-the-mill. This is far more difficult than it looks, of course, and many newer hotels and restaurants have tried to capture Bahia's charm without ever quite equalling its service or its success.
