  El Ameyal is a rebranding of the former Hotel Vistazul, emphasizing their natural and holistic spa services. The signature treatment is the Temazcal, an ancient Mexican healing ritual somewhat akin to the Native American sweat lodge, with medicinal herbs and hot steam. They also offer a number of massage options, including Swedish, Shiatsu, Ayurvedic, deep tissue, sports, couples, and hot stone. Body and facial services are available, including manicures and pedicures. The hotel is contemporary Mexican in design, and includes studio, as well as one and two-bedroom suites. Amenities for the studios include free internet, microwave ovens, and balcony views of the garden and pool areas. The larger suites include living room and dining areas and an equipped kitchenette. The on-site restaurant is geared towards health-conscious cuisine, and features a lot of salads, veggie burgers, and fresh fish.
