  Whether this Todos Santos hotel was the basis for the Eagles song of the same name has been much debated in Baja, but the place has enough charm and richly appointed furnishings to transcend mere curiosity value. The hotel is quite small, with only eleven rooms and suites, all individually decorated in contemporary Mexican style, and featuring some of the great local art from this longstanding artists' colony. Other treats include the lovely gardens surrounding the swimming pool, and the onsite La Coronela Restaurant & Bar. Executive Chef Dany Lamote has made a commitment to locally grown and organic ingredients, and has created a menu that combines the conventional with the exotic, Mexican specialties with American favorites like burgers and omelets. The bar is the center of the social scene at the hotel, and often features live music. Souvenir aficionados will enjoy the onsite Emporeo bazaar, featuring charms, garments, jewels, trinkets, and curios from around the world.
