  One of the oldest hotels in San Lucas, and one of the best values. It is hard to find a more affordable hotel, especially with this kind of location. The Mar de Cortez has 90 rooms, including standard rooms, terrace view rooms, garden view rooms, and suites, and ranging in price from about 50 to 80 USD per person. Kids 8 and under stay for free. There is a very nice pool area surrounded by beautiful landscaping. Amenities include free wireless and secure parking, with laundry services available. You can rent a mini-fridge for 10 USD daily. Great downtown location, within easy walking distance of the Malecon. The onside restaurant, Baja Peppers, makes a very good breakfast (and also offers lunch and dinner). Try the Eggs Benedict, or one of the Italian omelets.
