Who doesn't love a resort with a pirate ship in the swimming pool, particularly when there is a bar aboard. The Buccaneer Bar is a signature aspect of Villa del Arco. The kids can have an ice cream while adults sip margaritas and walk the plank. The resort has luxury amenities, but offers some affordable room rates, at least by Los Cabos standards. Deluxe studio suites are 174 USD in season, 149 USD off-season. One-bedroom, two-bedroom, and penthouse suites are also available. Spa and fitness facilities are more than ample, and keep fairly long hours (8am to 9pm). Private jacuzzis are available, as are swimming pools without pirate ships. Internet access is 16 USD daily, or 67 USD weekly, which is no bargain. However, there is an internet cafe on-site where you get access by the hour or half hour. Best of all, Villa del Arco is located on famed Medano Beach, where all the local action happens by day.
