  Felix is the evening incarnation of Mama's Royal Cafe, famed as the best breakfast in Los Cabos. Felix is similarly regarded, and features some of the best traditional Mexican cuisine you will find anywhere in Baja California Sur. The appetizers are superb, particularly the jalapenos rellenos and the salpiconitas de jaiba (crab cakes with mango salsa), and they have a large variety of great salsas. Shrimp is one of the specialties of the house, and there are many options ranging from scampi to coconut mango to shrimp boiled in beer. Entrees include the requisite enchiladas, quesadillas, and chimichangas, but also include traditional favorites like pozole, puerco con pina, and Mexican-style bouillabaise. The desserts are hands down the best in town. The homemade flan is covered in sweet cream and strawberry sauce, and the crepes Panama is a bananas foster flambeed in dark rum. The courtyard here is garlanded in vines and flowers, home to many small birds, and is a completely charming place to be in the early evening. The service is great, and amazingly, is equal to the very fine food.
