  Mama's Royal Cafe is generally considered to offer the best breakfast in Cabo San Lucas. They offer Mexican flavored fare with traditional American options like bacon and eggs. A good compromise are the breakfast burritos, with a slathering of their delicious salsas. Their signature dish is french toast stuffed with cream cheese, topped with fresh fruits and berries, and flambeed in orange liqueur. It is delicious, but rather pricey. It is quite easy to spend twenty dollars here on breakfast, juice, and coffee. Not a bargain place by any means, but the food is absolutely great. The crowd is a good mix of locals and tourists. They generally have a guitar player in the mornings, who provides good local atmosphere without being too loud or intrusive. The patio dining area is beautifully low-key, with chirping birds accompanying the guitarist. If the coffee isn't kick-starting your day, try one of their mimosas.
