  Located at the Hacienda Del Mar resort, Pitahayas is one of the premier restaurants in Los Cabos, and features Pacific Rim dining from Executive Chef Volker Romelke. The atmosphere is upscale casual, with exotic decor touches, and spectacular Sea of Cortez views. The German born Romelke has worked all over the world, and has forged a cuisine that fuses Pan Asian flavors with European traditions and Mexican accents. In addition to the excellent food, there is a generous wine list, with over 500 producers represented from the U.S., France, Italy, South Africa, Chile, and of course Mexico. White wine highlights include a few excellent selections from Burgundy and Northern California, and there are some big reds from Italy. The wine cellar is located beneath the dining room, and includes a table for 10 for those who would like to sample the wines with a tasting menu from the chef. Romantic dinners for two may also be arranged in the wine cellar.
