  A popular downtown sushi restaurant, Chef Oscar Carrasco has added Mexican accents to the traditional Japanese menu at Sushimanias. The menu offers a selection of appetizers, soups and salads, sushi, sashimi, and tempura-style breaded rolls and desserts. The seafood here is all fresh and local, with excellent options like the marinated tuna on won ton toast and the Aztec roll with octopus, crab, avocado, and cream cheese in eel sauce and togarashi spices. In addition to the wonderful food and service here, Sushimanias has a privileged location overlooking the town square, with a spacious dining area that fuses modern and traditional, and outside tables available for al fresco fans. They also have a full bar, an international wine list representing Mexico, Chile, Argentina, and Italy, as well as Japanese beverage specialties like the nonalcoholic Calpico (fruit flavored milk), and Sapporo beer. A second location has recently opened in San Jose del Cabo.
