  Watching the joy on a child's face when interacting with dolphins makes this one of the best kid-friendly activities you will find anywhere.  However, this is a great treat for all ages.  Cabo Dolphins offers three ways to experience the dolphins: encounters, swims, and the trainer for a day program. The encounters occur in shallow water, and are good for very young children, pregnant women, and the elderly. You can meet and pet the dolphins, watch them go through their endless array of turns and flips and, and not have to experience the physical demands (negligible by the way) of swimming with them. Swimming with the dolphins is a blast, although it is more like they are swimming for you. You grab onto their pectoral fins (or their dorsal fin for a faster moving experience) as they take you around the pool. They will also swim around you as you are floating in the water (life jackets required), and you can give them hugs and, later, dolphin kisses. The trainers at Cabo Dolphins are great, very passionate about what they do. They each have their own dolphin to train, and develop very close bonds. Understanding this bond is one of the great benefits of the trainer for a day program. You can still experience the encounters and swims, but you also get to hear more about the care and feeding of the animals, and visit the veterinarian's lab.   This adventure is all-day, and really gives you an appreciation for these magnificent creatures.
