  A visit to Casa Maria is like stepping into the Mexico of an earlier era. It is the best arts and crafts store in Cabo San Lucas, and a must stop shop for collectors, with everything from black pottery to rugs, wall hangings, sculpture, mirrors, and exquisite pre-Colombian style bark paper art. The inventory is rich in traditional Mexican handicrafts from around the country. The beautiful black pottery comes from women artisans near Oaxaca, with various styles of vases made from black clay. The tapestries and wall hangings are wool, and are made from traditional wooden looms by Zapotec weavers also located in the area near Oaxaca. The gorgeous hand-crafted mirrors feature tin-stamped frames in a variety of shapes and sizes, and are primarily from artisans in Oaxaca and Guanajuato. They also feature a huge and varied selection of ceramic wall ornaments. The shop is centrally located in downtown San Lucas.
