  If the photos of Che Guevara out front didn't give it away, be assured this place specializes in Cubans (Yes, Guevara was Argentinean, but his role in the Cuban Revolution has made him a lasting influence on cigar store iconography). These are not the fraudulent Cuban cigars you see being hawked along the Malecon all day, or the fraudulent Cubans being advertised in shops all over San Lucas. These are the real deal, and the walk-in humidor here smells like a cigar aficionado's idea of heaven. Prices vary widely according the the ring gauge (diameter of the cigar) and the reputation of the producer. Cohibas are not cheap here, but you can get a nice Cuban in a small to mid-range ring gauge for about 7-10 USD. Humidors and other accessories are also available. And just to assure you that there is a little bit of Mexico in J & J Habano, they also sell premium 100% blue agave tequilas. Tequila tastings are available at their beautiful wooden bar, as are cups of fine espresso. But cigars are the focus here, and their fine staff knows etiquette and amenities. Matches and cedar strips are provided with every purchase.
