Description:
- This beach is not so well-known. Close to Cabo yet out of the way. Just down the highway from Santa Maria, about 1/2 km closer to Cabo. Widows Beach (Playa de Las Viudas) has good snorkelling and swimming. Be careful when waves are high. Interesting rock formations on the shore make for some great tidal pool exploring. Portable toilets provided. There is some construction going on as (sadly) the luxury houses are starting to encroach. Beautiful sunrises.
