Description:

Mexican cuisine is not typically known for being light on the hips, but this place has made an effort to reduce the calories and maximize the flavor. The menu consists of seafood platters, surf and turf, and some of the best Shrimp and Lobster Echiladas going. The decor is fun and tropical and the Margaritas have been described as some of the best in Baja. It shows all the major sporting events and has excellent views of the Main Street Marina. Here you can enjoy Belgian Waffles in the morning and the Mariachi bands in the evenings!

Description:

The center of the Plaza del Mar shopping center holds a 30-40 person outdoor bar, and it is open all day long. This bar is internationally known as the Tequila server and offers 150 kinds of Tequila's. The name comes from the Agave plant from which Tequila is made. A miniscule offering of tapas (appetizers) are provided (really just four kinds of nachos thrown under a heat lamp until the bar-tender pulls them out). It is a fun place for a drink during the day though, and it offers people watching.

Hailing back to the days when the tuna cannery was the life-blood of this fishing village, this restaurant is an enormous fishing boat suspended above the ground. The deck itself is one of the dining areas. Always preparing a nice selection of shrimp, ahi tuna, clam and lobster meals, it consistently offers one of the best deals in town for lunch. Changing daily, the menu items vary widely between spicy fried chicken, green chili meatloaf and other home-style meals. Known for its wild evenings, the full bar serves up stout drinks with a Happy Hour from 3p-6p.

Constantly expanding this is one of the largest restaurants in Cabo with a current capacity for about 300. This is a great spot for a birthday or any special occassion party.

Description:

Sip a Margarita from an enormous glass and watch your Tortillas made by hand. The dishes here are traditional and hard to find elsewhere in Cabo. They include Chiles en Nogada and many variations of the Dense Chocolate and Chile Sauce called Mole. Across the street from the Museo de las Californias, the bright blue exterior hints at the cheerful atmosphere inside, which features murals and a friendly, bolero-jacketed staff.

Located off Marina Boulevard, The Shrimp Factory is a branch of the wildly successful Maztlan shrimp bar. Offered by the kilo, guests feast on shrimp prepared a multitude of ways-- deviled, rachero, beer-battered, coconut-crusted. For those who don't like seafood, try the skirt steak or quesadilas. Call-in orders and large groups are welcome, and the restaurant is fully stocked.

Located on Medano Beach, The Office is a great place to unwind--or rewind-- with a 16-ounce Margarita. Weekly Mexican fiestas and buckets of beer go well with signature dishes like the fajitas and jumbo shrimp. The lively atmosphere takes a momentary pause every evening when guests marvel at the sunset. The place gets hopping early, so call ahead.

Description:

Easy to spot by the massive fiberglass cactus in front of the building and the pink Caddy in the entrance, this branch of the world-famous chain has been operating since 1995. Menu items are standard fare (burgers and onion rings) and a bit overpriced but the decor—memorabilia of stars like Elton John, David Bowie and Prince—might make up for it. Do not forget to pick up your T-shirt on your way out so everyone who sees you knows you were there.
