Opened in 1993, this city-center hotel is Tryp La Caleta's chief competition, the latter having a slight edge. Midsize bedrooms are furnished with modern pieces, color-coordinated fabrics, and often painted provincial wooden furniture. This neoclassical hotel stands less than 100m (328 ft.) from Santa María del Mar beach. This hotel has more varied accommodations than almost any other in town: double or double with lounge, triple, king-size, and family units. Both regional and national dishes are served in the on-site restaurant or the more affordable cafeteria.
