Description:
A popular hostel for young travelers, The Melting Pot has a social, laid-back feel and numerous amenities, including free Wi-Fi and luggage storage. Co-ed dorms with shared bathrooms are cleaned daily and contain private, medium-sized lockers. English-speaking staff are friendly and organized. On the top floor, you'll find a spacious common room with a bar, a kitchen, and computers with internet. There is also a rooftop terrace, where the staff serves chorizo sandwiches,
kefta (ground beef with Moroccan spices), and
tortilla de patata for around 2€ each in addition to a basic variety of beer and cocktails during the summer. Located in the very center of the old town, The Melting Pot is just a short walk from endless tapas restaurants, pubs, and tourist attractions like Torre Tavira and La Caleta beach.
