- Tucked away behind a solid oak door, this upscale restaurant overlooking the Nile is a favorite meeting place for business execs. Wood-paneled walls and ceilings, soft leather armchairs and mounted iron maces and sabers give the room the regal air of a French manor. Diners are treated to a fabulous view, subdued lighting and flawless service. The menu favors red meat and seafood in delicious sauces. Start with the fresh smoked salmon with lemon-dill mayonnaise, capers and radishes. Tender grilled lamb chops, rich in garlic and rosemary, come with roasted potatoes and stuffed tomatoes. Leave room for the heavenly Crêpe Suzette, which is flamed with Grand Marnier and vanilla ice cream. Alcohol is served.
